A Community Hall available to all

North Crawley Institute is a FULLY LICENSED community hall in the centre of the Village.  The Institute and its associated recreation ground is used for a range of community activities including bowls, cricket, youth football, bingo, martial arts, parents and toddlers group and a youth club.  Newcomers are welcome to join any of these activities, most of which you can find further details about on this website.

Facilities available for hire
The hall and/or meeting room together with a bar and kitchen area are available for hire for events such as wedding receptions, parties, meetings or club activities at very reasonable rates

Hire Charges include all heating, lighting and use of all relevant equipment and facilities.

Day hire rates apply from 8.00am - 6.00pm Evening hire rates apply from 6.00pm - midnight. All functions are to finish by midnight.

 The hall, all facilities and equipment are to be cleaned following each function at the hirer's cost, and left as they are found.

 North Crawley Institute will accept no responsibility for any losses, damage or injuries sustained during period of hire. Hirers are to arrange their own insurance for activities where insurance is required.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INSTITUTE HIRE

1.                    A £10 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED ON CONFIRMATION OF HALL HIRE.  THIS WILL BE USED TO CLEAN THE HALL SHOULD IT BE LEFT IN AN UNSATISFACTORY STATE AND/OR HELP PAY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE HIRER OR THEIR GUESTS. IF EVERYTHING IS LEFT AS IT SHOULD BE THEN THIS DEPOSIT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE HIRE CHARGES.

2.                    ALL FIRE EXITS MUST BE UNLOCKED DURING THE EVENT AND RELOCKED AFTER THE EVENT.

 3.                    THE FAN HEATERS MUST BE SWITCHED OFF AT THE RESPECTIVE SOCKETS BEFORE LEAVING THE HALL. ATTENTION MUST BE PAID TO THE NOTICE RELATING TO THE HEATING AND LIGHTING ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE INNER FRONT DOORS.

 4.                    THE PREMISES ARE FULLY LICENSED AND CONSUMPTION/SALE OF ALCOHOL HAS TO BE APPROVED BY THE DESIGNATED BAR SUPERVISOR, FOR FURTHER DETAILS CONTACT THE LETTINGS SECRETARY.

 5.                    YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COLLECTION AND RETURN OF THE KEYS TO THE ADDRESS BELOW.

6.                    FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIREED SEVEN DAYS BEFORE THE ACTUAL FUNCTION.

 7.                    ALL BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE ARE TO BE PAID FOR IN FULL BY THE HIRER.

 8.                    ALL FURNITURE IS TO BE PUT BACK AS FOUND.

 9.                  PLEASE LEAVE THE HALL, KITCHEN AND OTHER ROOMS USED CLEAN AND TIDY.

 10.              SHOULD ANY ACCIDENT HAPPEN DURING THE EVENT, THE HIRER IS LEGALY BOUND TO REPORT THE INCIDENT TO OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER.

 11.              IN THE EVENT OF AN INJURY, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO USE THE FIRST AID KIT FREE OF CHARGE, BUT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO INFORM THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER, SO THAT THE KIT CAN BE RESTOCKED, THIS INCLUDES ANY ITEM INCLUDING ‘JUST A PLASTER’

THE LEGAL MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF THE HALL IS: - 122 PERSONS USING TABLES AND CHAIRS OR 200 CLOSELY SEATED OR DANCING.

 1.             A £30 DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID AT TIME OF CONFIRMATION OF CLUBROOM HIRE. 

2.             SHOULD THE CLUROOM OR ENVIRONS BE LEFT IN AN UNSATISFACTORY CONDITION, THE ABOVE DEPOSIT WILL BE USED TOWARDS CLEANING AND REPAIR COSTS WHICH ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HIRER. IF THE PREMISES ARE LEFT IN A SATISFACTORY CONDITION, THIS DEPOSIT WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL HIRE CHARGES.

3.             ALL FIRE EXITS MUST BE UNLOCKED DURING THE EVENT AND RELOCKED AFTER THE EVENT.

 10.       PLEASE LEAVE ALL FACILITIES USED CLEAN AND TIDY. ALL RUBBISH TO BE TAKEN AWAY BY HIRER.

 11.        SMOKING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN

12.              THE LEGAL MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF THE CLUBROOM IS 40 PEOPLE.

 13.              SHOULD ANY ACCIDENT HAPPEN DURING THE EVENT, THE HIRER IS LEGALLY BOUND TO REPORT THE INCIDENT TO OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER.
