A brief update on the continuing success story that is the Village Youth Club.

The club continues to attract an average of 30 young people each week and there is still a willing team of volunteers to help.

As well as regular activities like football, hockey and craft activities we also hold special events.  For example, we had a Christmas Party which was very well supported and we would in particular like to thank all those who donated prizes, helped and cooked food.  The party was a great sucess and enjoyed by all.

In the summer holidays a number of the young people went sailing on Caldecote Lake and Milton Keynes Council's Youth Information Bus came to the village on a couple of occasions.  Thanks to Rhonda Padget's generosity, football posts have been put up and the pitch is used regularly.

It's good to see that as young people move into the village they join the club to replace those who have moved out or a now too old.  Please tell your friends about the club as the more members we have the more we can do.

Finally, if you are interested in becoming a helper, please give either Jo Dennison on 391748 or Andrew Tustin on 391372 a ring.  It's good fun and if we have enough helpers then you only need to help about once a month
